Lawrence Starting Busy 2019 Season This Weekend With NOW600 Series

Inside Line Promotions – LILLIAN, Texas (Feb. 15, 2019) – A busy season is on tap for Zane Lawrence as he will compete in several different series while driving for multiple car owners throughout the 2019 season.

Lawrence will kick off the year in a micro sprint this Friday and Saturday
at Superbowl Speedway in Greenville, Texas, with the Lucas Oil National Open Wheel 600 Series presented by Tel-Star Technologies.

“I’m excited to get the season started and get back behind the wheel,” he said. “I have to thank my buddy Chance Hull for letting me race his micro sprint this weekend. We’re going to be teammates and we’re just going to have fun with it. Plus, it’s nice to get some seat time in.”

Lawrence will also return to the seat of Bob Odom’s 305ci winged sprint car for a number of select races with the Texas Sprint Series around his home state of Texas. Last year he collected several top fives and top 10s with the series, but is hoping to add a few wins to his resume in 2019.

“I can’t thank Bob enough for having me back in his sprint car this year,” Lawrence said. “We came so close to picking up a couple of wins last year. This year I’m hoping that we can finally get to Victory Lane and collect a few wins.”

Lawrence is also on the hunt for a 360ci sprint car championship this season. The Lillian, Texas, native will contend for the ASCS Lone Star Region championship.

“I’m also pretty excited to be back in my 360 this year,” he said. “We’re going to go for the championship with the ASCS Lone Star Region. I think there will be some stout competition, but I also think that we could have a good shot at. I’ve logged a lot of laps at some of the tracks on the schedule, which could benefit us. There’s also some new tracks that we will travel to. I’m ready to get this season started.”

Another highlight on his schedule will be several starts with the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour and the Sprint Car Bandit Series.
