Driven Midwest NOW600 Series Set for Return to Action Friday at Creek County

Inside Line Promotions – TULSA, Okla. (May 30, 2016) – It has been almost three months since the Driven Midwest NOW600 National Micro Series presented by MyRacePass has hosted an event.

Weather permitting, the series heads to Creek County Speedway in Sapulpa, Okla., this Friday for its first race since March 5.

“The weather has been absolutely awful this year, but hopefully that is behind us and we’ll get back to racing regularly,” Driven Midwest NOW600 Founder Terry Mattox said. “Creek County Speedway has been like a home track for the series and we’re thrilled to head back there on Friday.”

Friday night’s event, which is co-sanctioned with the NOW600 Sooner Region, features the Stock Non-Wing division.

Steven Shebester is the only driver to register three top-five finishes in the class this season. He enters the weekend with a 44-point advantage in the championship standings.

The front gates are scheduled to open at 5 p.m. with hot laps at 7:30 p.m. and racing to following. The Driven Midwest NOW600 Series drivers meeting is at 6:30 p.m. with the draw following.

Tickets are $15 for adults, $6 for children ages 10 to 14 and free for children ages nine and younger.
