Flud, Sawyer and Bryson Return to Driven Midwest NOW600 Victory Lane to Kick Off Red River Roundup

Inside Line Promotions – WICHITA FALLS, Texas (March 4, 2016) – Familiar faces found Victory Lane on Friday at Red River Speedway during the third Driven Midwest NOW600 National Micro Series presented by MyRacePass race of the season.

Frank Flud recorded his 10th career triumph by capturing the Stock Non-Wing feature, Scott Sawyer garnered his second straight Winged ‘A’ Class main event win and Kaylee Bryson earned her second career Restricted ‘A’ Class victory to highlight a solid night of competition during the opening round of the two-day Red River Roundup, which was co-sanctioned with the Inside Line Promotions NOW600 North Texas Region presented by FFE Motorsports along with the NOW600 Sooner Region.

Flud, who is the winningest driver in series history, advanced from fourth to claim his fifth career Stock Non-Wing win. It locked him into Saturday’s feature redraw along with Steven Shebester, Dean Drake Jr. and Josh Toho, who finished second through fourth, respectively.

Sawyer outlasted Flud to pick up the Winged ‘A’ Class victory. He and Flud, along with third-place finisher Bryan Debrick and fourth-place driver Jason Martin, are locked into Saturday’s feature redraw.

Bryson powered to the Restricted ‘A’ Class triumph with Grady Widener, Blake Scott and Ryder Laplante finishing in the top four to all lock into Saturday’s feature redraw.

The gates open at 3 p.m. on Saturday with the draw scheduled from 3:30-4:30 p.m. The drivers meeting will promptly follow the draw with hot laps set for 5:30 p.m.

Tickets are $15 for adults and $5 for children ages 6 to 11. Children 5 and under have free admission. Active military and seniors have discounted tickets for $12 with pit passes priced at $30.

Additionally, Saturday will utilize the Driven Midwest NOW600 single-day purse with the Winged ‘A’ Class and Stock Non-Wing running for $400 to win on top of the NOW600 single-day purse. Restricted ‘A’ Class will compete for the normal single-day purse of $250 to win and $30 to start.
