Freeman, Hernandez and Starnes Score First Career NOW600 Wins During Opener

Inside Line Promotions – GREENVILLE, Texas (March 29, 2015) – A trio of drivers registered their first career National Open Wheel 600 Series feature victory on Saturday at Superbowl Speedway.

Cody Freeman claimed the Restrictor win from the pole position, Anton Hernandez charged from fifth for the Non-Wing victory and Joey Starnes led the distance to score the A-Class triumph.

Noah Key finished second in the Restrictor class with Taylor Beilson, who won the lone heat race, rounding out the podium. Kobe Simpson placed fourth and JC Haddock ended fifth during the NOW600 season-opening race.

Aaron Dromgoole was the runner up in the Non-Wing class and Johnny B. rallied from 11th to a third-place finish. Dean Drake Jr., a heat race winner, finished fourth and Dustin Davidson completed the top five.

Stephen Smith garnered the Hard Charger Award after maneuvering from 20th to sixth. In addition to Drake Jr., Weston Gorham and Chance McCrary picked up heat race triumphs.

Davidson rallied from eighth to record the A-Class runner-up result. John Binz earned a podium finish by placing third. Dromgoole ended fourth and Drake Jr. was fifth.

Colby Stubblefield was the Hard Charger after powering from 21st to seventh in the main event. Starnes, Drake Jr. and Colton Corbin recorded heat race wins.

The NOW600 Series returns to action on April 24 at Creek County Speedway in Sapulpa, Okla.
