Creek County Speedway set for Third Season of the Fast Five Weekly Series.
Terry Mattox – SAPULPA, Okla. (January 27, 2015) – It seems like it has been ages since the stars and cars of the Fast Five Weekly Series has graced the clay at the Creek County Speedway, but the 2015 season is just around the corner as officials have released the upcoming season schedule today.
Going into the third consecutive season of the Fast Five Weekly Series, drivers will once again have a full slate of racing set to begin on Saturday, March 28 and run through Saturday, September 5.
Along with the Fast Five Weekly Series events, several special Full Throttle Friday and Thursday night Thunder shows are also scheduled to take place at “The Creek.”
The newly formed American Bank of Okla. ASCS Red River Region presented by Smiley’s Racing Products, formally known as the ASCS Sooner and Lone Star Regions, will open up the 2015 season at the Creek County Speedway on Saturday, March 14 and will grace the clay again on Friday, April 17 and Friday, July 17.
The NOW600 Micro Sprints will invade the Creek County Speedway on five Friday night occasions this season. Those dates are set for April 24, May 8, June 5, June 26 and August 14. NOW600 Classes that are racing those nights can be found below in the detailed schedule.
The Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series presented by MATV American Real will visit the Creek County Speedway during the always exciting ASCS Sizzlin’ Summer Speedweek on Thurday, June 18.
The Wingless Oklahoma Warriors (WOW) Non-Wing Sprint Car Series will plan their attack on the Creek County Speedway for Friday, May 8 and Friday, June 26.
The USAC Southwest Sprint Car Series “Freedom Tour” will make their annual stop to the Creek County Speedway on Thursday night, August 20, along with the Lucas Oil POWRi West Midget Series.
The 2015 Creek County Speedway season will tentatively conclude on Saturday, September 5.
Creek County Speedway is a fast quarter mile oval located six miles west of Sapulpa, Okla. on historic Route 66, just north of Kellyville, Okla.. Creek County Speedway has been bringing high octane excitement to race fans since 1986.
2015 marks the third consecutive year of Fast Five Weekly Series action to race fans on Saturday nights. Weekly Classes include: Champ Sprints, A-Modifieds, Dwarf Cars, Factory Stocks and Mini Stocks.
