Inside Line Promotions – DRUMRIGHT, Okla. (Oct. 29, 2018) – The Lucas Oil National Open Wheel 600 Series presented by MyRacePass wraps up a highly successful season this weekend with the second annual running of The Cup.

Arkoma Speedway in Arkoma, Okla., will host the unique micro sprint affair on Saturday prior to the series’ season finale on Sunday.

The action begins on Saturday afternoon when heat races and B Mains will be contested for the three premier NOW600 Series divisions – Stock Non-Wing, Winged ‘A’ Class and Restricted ‘A’ Class. The top 14 in points following the heat races lock into the triple A Mains with the top six in a B Main joining them to fill out the field.

Saturday evening will showcase a trio of main events in each class. In the first feature the 14 drivers locked in from the heat races will be split into two qualifying sessions. Drivers will line up for the feature based on the quickest qualifying time.

The second A Main will be lined up heads up from the first feature finish with a six-car inversion. The third and final A Main will be lined up heads up from the second feature finish with a six-car inversion. Points from all three main events will determine the overall winner.

Sunday’s event will be a full show with the standard format for all three classes.

Daniel Shaffer enters the weekend with a 43-point lead in the Stock Non-Wing championship standings over Daison Pursley.

Jim Woods holds a 10-point advantage over Pursley in the Winged ‘A’ Class standings.

The draw opens at 1 p.m. on Saturday and will be open until the drivers meeting at 2 p.m. Hot laps are scheduled to start at 2:30 p.m. Sunday’s event is slated to begin at 3 p.m.
