Driven Midwest USAC NOW600 National Series Prepares for Month of Money to Close Out the 2017 Season

DRUMRIGHT, Okla. (Sept. 27, 2017) – The touring titans of the Driven Midwest USAC NOW600 National Series presented by MyRacePass is set to embark on the “Month of Money” as we close out the 2017 season in October.

Starting things off on October 14 and 15 at the Red Dirt Raceway located just north of Meeker, Oklahoma will be the inaugural running of the Meeker 500.

Saturday, October 14 will follow standard NOW600 Series format with the Top 8 in each Restricted ‘A’ Class and Winged A-Class feature event locking into Sunday’s Meeker 500. Saturday’s purse will be standard night one pay for the NOW600 National Series.

Sunday, October 15 will be the finale of the Meeker 500 featuring Heat Races and LCQ’s to make it into the A-Main events. Each A-Main will feature 33 cars starting 3 wide. Restricted will run for $500 to win in their 30-lap feature and the Winged A-Class will compete for $1,000 to win their 40-lap A-Main.

The granddaddy of them all, the Driven Midwest Cup will close out the 2017 season and the month of money for the Driven Midwest USAC NOW600 National Micros on October 20-22, 2017.

Being held at the Caney Valley Speedway in Caney, Kansas, the Driven Midwest Cup will feature three nights of competition.

Friday and Saturday will be qualifying nights for drivers trying to make it into the Top 14 in event points to lock into Sunday afternoons Cup with drivers sitting 15-30 in event points having their last shot at the Cup in Sunday’s LCQ. Sportsman will run a compete show ALL three nights.

Sunday afternoon will feature the LCQ for the three premier NOW600 National divisions with 6 drivers getting their shot into the Driven Midwest Cup.

Once the 20 car fields are set, the Cup begins. Restricted, Winged A-Class and Stock Non-Wing will each have three (3) 12-lap Cup Mains. After each Cup Main point’s will be awarded Olympic style with first place receiving 1 point, second place 2 points and so on. The driver with the lowest score at the end of the Cup will be Champion!

Overall champion in the Restricted class will see a $500 pay day with the A-Class and Non-Wing classes will both see a $1,000 pay day to the overall winner.

If a driver wins all three Driven Midwest Cup features in their class they will receive a $2,000 BONUS in the A-Class and Non-Wing divisions making it $3,000 to win, while the Restricted ‘A’ Class will receive a $1,000 bonus making the winner walk away with $1,500!
