Oklahoma's Week of Speed Happens June 20-23, 2018 with the Lucas Oil NOW600 Series

DRUMRIGHT, Okla. (April 12, 2018) - The Lucas Oil National Open Wheel 600 Series presented by MyRacePass will once again headline "Oklahoma's Week of Speed" Sooner 600 Week in 2018 featuring four nights of action at four dirt ovals across Oklahoma and Southern Kansas.

A trip to the Oklahoma/Kansas border will kick things off on Wednesday, June 20 as Caney Valley Speedway in Caney, Kansas will host the opening leg of Sooner 600 Week.

Caney Valley Speedway is a quarter-mile facility and has hosted five Lucas Oil NOW600 National Series events since the series' inception in 2013.

On Thursday night the series will take the week of speed to Creek County Speedway located just outside of Sapulpa, Okla in Kellyville, Okla.

Creek County Speedway is a quarter-mile oval with a 1/8 mile oval track constructed inside of the big track. Creek County has hosted the most Lucas Oil NOW600 events with 20 race being contested since 2013.

Friday night action will moved down the Turner Turnpike to Meeker, Oklahoma as Red Dirt Raceway will play host to the third night of Sooner 600 Week competition.

Red Dirt Raceway is a quarter-mile red clay oval located north of Meeker, Oklahoma on Highway 18 owned by the Brewer family. Red Dirt has hosted three previous Lucas Oil NOW600 Series events in 2017.

The finale of Sooner 600 Week will be held at the world famous, Port City Raceway located near Catoosa, Okla. just outside of Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Port City Raceway was sight of the 2018 Lucas Oil NOW600 National Series Season Opener on March 8-10. The same weekend was also the first NOW600 event ever contested at the famed 1/8 mile oval.

Sooner 600 Week sanctioned by the Lucas Oil National Open Wheel 600 Series presented by MyRacePass will feature the Stock Non-Wing, Winged A-Class and Restricted 'A' Class divisions all four nights. Each track will run support classes as well.

Each night will follow standard single night purses for all three Lucas Oil NOW600 sanctioned divisions which includes: $500 to win and $50 to start for both Winged A-Class and Stock Non-Wing. $300 to win and $40 to start Restricted 'A' Class.

ALL POSITIONS WILL BE PAID! Non-Qualifiers will be paid their pit pass money GUARANTEED!

Pill Draw, Drivers Meeting and Race Times are TBA and will be posted in the press release that will be posted in June.

Entry fee each night will be pit pass and $10 draw fee per night.

Standard Lucas Oil NOW600 National Series race night format. Pill draw for heat starting position, passing points for the feature races.

THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO CAP ON ENTRIES! Anyone can show up and race.
