Mother Nature Rakes Havoc on the Lucas Oil NOW600 Season Opener Again

MEEKER, Okla. (February 27, 2018) - For the second time in 2018, the Season Opener for the Lucas Oil National Open Wheel 600 Series presented by MyRacePass has fell to weather.

With the winter weather that swept through Oklahoma last week and the rain that has fell today with no time to dry up, officials with the Red Dirt Raceway in Meeker, Oklahoma are going ahead and cancelling this weekends events early enough to allow teams to make plans accordingly.

At this time there is no announcement on a re-schedule date.

The 2018 season will now open the season on March 8-10 at Creek County Speedway in Sapulpa, Okla. for the 2nd Annual Creek County Clash and the inaugural Terry Walker Memorial.
