Driven Midwest USAC NOW600 Presents the Sooner 600 Week May 26-June 3, 2017

DRUMRIGHT, Okla. (April 10, 2017) - The fifth season of competition for the Driven Midwest USAC NOW600 National Micro Series presented by MyRacePass continues to get bigger and better with the newest addition to the 2017 slate, the Inaugural Sooner 600 Week scheduled for Friday, May 26 through Saturday, June 3, 2017.

"NOW600 is based in the hotbed of Micro Sprint racing, it just makes sense to get a few tracks together and try something new." commented NOW600 Series founder, Terry Mattox. "California host a Speedweek every summer and has huge success with it, and I believe we can make a huge success with it around our area with the different tracks and strong numbers of competitors."

The Driven Midwest USAC NOW600 "Sooner 600 Week" will kick off on Friday, May 26 with the series' return to Oklahoma City's I-44 Riverside Speedway and will continue through Saturday, June 3 with I-44 closing out the inaugural week of micro sprint racing across the Sooner State.

Six nights of action across a nine day stretch will make up the 2017 edition of the Sooner 600 Week featuring the three premier divisions of the Driven Midwest USAC National Open Wheel 600 Series presented by MyRacePass, which include: Stock Non-Wing, Winged A-Class, and Restricted 'A' Class.

Event payouts will follow standard NOW600 National Single Night Pay Scales, with the exception of the two-day event at I-44 that will be kicking off the Sooner 600 Week which will follow the standard NOW600 Two-Day Pay Scale.

The Sooner 600 Week is open to all teams as there will not be a cap on entries.

Each night will follow normal NOW600 race procedures. Pill draw for heat races, Top 14 in passing points will transfer into the Main, with everyone else falling into a Semi Main. 20-cars will start each Main Event. High point guy following the Heats will draw for the Main Event invert at the NOW600 competition trailer.

Pill Draw: will take place following the drivers meeting which is scheduled for one hour prior to scheduled hot lap time.

Entry fees for each night will consist of Pit Passes per class, and $10 Pill Draw per class, with the exception of the two night event on May 26-27 at I-44 which will be $20 Pill Draw per class.

RACECeivers are MANDATORY at ALL NOW600 and Sooner 600 Week events. If you do not have one you can rent them for $20 a night and your pay will be held until returned.
